Another little girl out there in the world was born a year ago TODAY, my little niece Runa turns One today Happy Birthday shout out to her !! This crew sends you hugs + kisses !!

Tales from Monday. Ava and I went out to visit with "our" girl friends - I am great friends with the mama and Ava is great little friends with that other little blondie in the photo above. I always say to Ava let's go see our friends, when meeting up with them and she knows who I am talking about. It's really great to have that kinda Mama + daughters besties feeling. But boy oh boy when you see our little group watch out - these girls mean business. Hey Ash.K. ? HA HA.
Beautiful day !! Today is the most beautiful day in a loooooooong time !! It's sunny It's warm ( - 7 ) OMG that's crazy from last week's - 43 wind chill what is going on with our planet ? That really worries me. However with the warm up in temps and this beautiful afternoon I got to clean up some piled up snow on the back deck, My poor garden area has a dump of snow on it like 10 feet deep well maybe 6. No wonder they are predicting a spring flood I see why. A whole lotta snow man.
Onward to do the house duties - enjoy this beautiful day !!
This weekend I did a art project with the kids. I recently bought a laminating machine and already I'm amazed at this little investment only thirty bucks and totally cool to play around with. I wanted some things of Ethan's laminated like Art he brought home from school and different homework papers that he can then use a white board marker on and erase it to reuse it. so off I went laminating.
Then it hit me ... make some custom magnets that are sealed so they last longer .... :) love the idea and went with it. Here are the steps.
I got some tempra paint and brushed it on the kids hands and stamped it onto paper.
Once the painted hands were dry I then got the laminator ready and laminated the hands.
Once the laminated sheets are cooled down I then cut them out and then stuck them onto the magnetic sheets I got these sheets at the local dollar store nothing too fancy.

The final result of the new custom print on the magnetic sheets. You can place this on your fridge or vehicle or where ever magnets can adhere to. I think I might place mine on our van with their hands together on the bumper. It was a cool little project and the kids had alot of fun doing it too. Away I go laminating our whole house I love this little machine.

FOR THE LOVE OF DOCUMENTARY ... I'M TRYING A NEW THING - I WANT TO SNAG A PHOTO OF MYSELF EACH MONTH. I THINK IT MIGHT TURN OUT KINDA COOL AT THE END OF THE YEAR. HERE IS WHAT I CAPTURED TODAY - THIS IS A SATURDAY IN JANUARY.
I WILL DO THIS EACH MONTH IN THIS SAME SPOT - MY BATHROOM MIRROR JUST TO KEEP IT CONSISTANT :)

Happy Thursday dudes - I can't believe this week is flying at supper fast speed to get to Friday - Which is ok with me !! Friday night is date night in this house. Tyler and I will be enjoying some adult only dinner time together, much needed.
I have been doing my PROJECT LIFE pretty much weekly - I will have some photo's up soon. I also have been looking at tackling a really cool art project - It's been too long. That's it for now :)

On the go this was Tuesday evening 'bout 4.30 pm - We just picked up Ethan from school and now we are off to pick up daddy.
A glimps of the evening sun set approching. It's sad that the days are so short in the winter It's only 4.30 pm here and before 5 pm it's pitch black out and cold !!
There isn't a day that this kids doesn't make me laugh. Ethan in the back, me peaking through the drivers seat and head rest.
Another day in our little life :) I'm working on the Project life album and hope to have some pages up soon. Right now I'm enjoying the taking of photo's , the easy-ness of just paying attention to our days and recording them. Loving it.

Lately I have been enjoying this slow ease into January, Into a New Year + into the next few projects I have signed up for. As December Daily came to end and I documented our last day the 25th - I realized a few things. 1. I seriously miss documenting our life. 2. I missed out on three years of Ethan's documented life by not doing so and that makes me sad. 3. I will never not document our life again :) . What a documented life does for me is so so much more than I thought it was - If that makes sense? It shows me the real life we live, the right now life we live, the life I love so very much with my little crew.
Which brings me to my next projects : Project Life 2011 - by Becky Higgins. I am all geared up clearing my space for the everyday somethings that occur. Here is a peak of my small workable space I use to document our life.

I found a two dollar bread loaf pan to hold all the journaling tags for Project life - easy to grab on the go!
Project life kit - all on the side table in my dining room - again easy to grab on the go + document life.
The other project I have taken on this year is : OLW - One little word - by Ali Edwards. I hope that this organized little space will keep me on the go for that project too. I find that I easily get lost in too many things like papers and adhesives and stamps and tags so on and so on. Until I get a office space once again this is the way I will organize my supplies to do what I love - document !

So this is how we started out a Monday morning @ 9:40 am. Not our typical start but it was kinda cool to get into the week slowly ... all together, then as the morning went on Ethan was dropped off at school and Tyler was dropped off at work - Ava and I went to do the shopping. Shortly we will head out to do the pick ups and all meet up again. Monday you were not that bad after all and it was a cool way to start our week "all together" .

She just keeps growing :) which is a very good thing ... But I can't believe that this little girl will turn 2 this year!! She Rocks !!
This past year she has hit major milestones and gone above our expectations in the vocabulary department !! Pulling full sentences together and a conversation addict - she is well on her way.
I know that they all grow so fast ... In this New year Ethan will also get a number older this year he will be 7 wow that's amazing to me seven years with that Awesome kid - love it !!!
As we are breaking into this New Year I have done a lot of thinking and calendar jotting, This year is going to ROCK !! Some personal changes will be made, A whole lotta house changes will be made as we decided NOT to move right now but to buckle down on the home we are in and love the home we make it. A change in plans for this blog it's 2 years old this month !! A change in eating !! A whole whole lot more in 2011. Stick with me it will be a great year I can feel it !! Good Vibes.
